Stating the Obvious About a Transwhoremation
06/23/2010
Recently I’ve run across a slew of headlines detailing teenage pop princess Miley Cyrus’s recent trend of donning more provocative outfits than usual during her performances. I am curious as to why this is even fucking newsworthy. She’s a 17-year-old ex-Disney star for chrissake- IT’S JUST NATURE TAKING ITS COURSE AND HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF.
Seriously, which ex-Disney star didn’t become an all out slut before their 18th birthday? It would be a thousand times more newsworthy to report on such a development (which has zero probability of ever occurring). Mickey Mouse must be a pedophile who spits boss playa game to these young girls on the low, behind his wife’s back, turning them all the way out before they leave his Bishop Don Magic Juan Kingdom. Someone needs to do a photoshop of that.
Anyways, reporting on an ex-Disney star behaving questionably and dressing provocatively on her way to morphing into an all out, licentious harlot (yes, I know that’s redundant but those two words just sound so fucking cool when spoken consecutively) is equivalent to running a story on how a tadpole is turning into a frog. It’s quite simply the natural progression of this species. Newsflash to the news people: This is not news. What are you going to tell us next, that physical inactivity along with drinking and smoking increases our health risks? *Gasp* :O
But if stories like this didn’t flood the headlines, what other useless, blatantly obvious fodder would come through the shit funnel (that is the media machine) to attempt (and succeed in most cases) to dull our senses into mindless oblivion? I’m sure they’d find something. Fuck the mainstream media. It serves as nothing more than comedy to me. Relevancy is at an all time low and it ain’t coming back anytime soon like the McRib sandwich.
What position is this one in the Kama Sutra?
I came across an interesting article that validates and debunks a lot of common thoughts on the subject of soul mates. Although stuff like this is pure conjecture, this article does make a lot of sense to me:
From Ariadne Green on Keen
With over 6 billion people in the world, how is it so many believe that there is only one person in the world meant for them? Is the ideal of finding a soul mate a romantic notion? A myth? Or is there something very real about the fairytale promise?
About.com conducted an online survey at the end of 2003 that overwhelmingly supports the notion that soul mates must exist. Participants were asked whether they believe in the theory of soul mates, one person in the world who is tailored for them. Seventy-five percent of the 158 respondents answered “yes.” Of the 128 women and 30 men who elaborated on why they believed in the concept of soul mates, most said they believe in a divine destiny with someone who complements them perfectly and with whom they are meant to learn from and grow alongside of in this life. Most believe God has a hand in the love equation. Of those who had not yet found the perfect match, most were holding out for their soul mates. Even the majority of those who responded “no” to the survey question said that they believe in the soul mate concept but that they think there is probably more than one person they’re suited for in this life, the notion of multiple soul mates.
The term “soul mate” by definition is someone to whom you have a natural and deep affinity, bonded in commonality and compatible in most ways. This definition leaves room for the possibility that there can be any number of good matches. For the majority, however, the term “soul mate” still holds the fairytale promise—one person in the world you were always meant to be with. It carries with it the belief in a divine destiny and the idea that fate carves the way for the two to be together.
Twin flames, twin souls and divine complements are metaphysical terms more reflective of the divine nature of the relationship. Of the three, divine complement better expresses the spiritual connection and complementary character of the relationship, two opposites who as a pair reflect a balanced union.
Fact: One Person in the World
Your divine complement is your twin soul and twin flame whom since the beginning of creation has been linked to you through a mystery –a heart-spirit connection. He or she represents that one person to whom you are most connected soul-to-soul and spirit-to-spirit, and with whom you may have an opportunity to meet and bond with at the human dimension. Your divine complement holds inborn potentials that match and complement your own and carries the key to your spiritual evolution. They are your ultimate complementary match.
Fiction: Happily-Ever-After
The romantic notion that soul mates are guaranteed a life of romantic bliss with extraordinary heights of sexual and spiritual ecstasy, and have so much in common that they will never fight, is a myth sending many to search endlessly for the perfect person. In truth, the passion sparks don’t necessarily fly in the beginning and the two are so opposite that getting along can be a challenge. Fate will present challenges that may be anything but happy experiences to test the commitment to love.
Fact: Destiny and Fate Design the Way
The majority of twin souls, divine complements, have a destiny to at least meet in this life and most are meant to build their relationship into a lasting commitment. Their union is spirit-driven. Divine complements come together by “divine design” and at the perfect time often through serendipity to begin their journey. A co-created design, a destiny plan, was set in motion just before the incarnation, spelling out what the couple promised to achieve. Just because the relationship is “meant-to-be”, doesn’t guarantee the relationship will work.
Fiction: Soul mates Think Alike and Like the Same Things
“True soul mates” are more likely to be opposites who complement each other nicely. Your twin possesses a unique intelligence with qualities that summon up your more hidden potentials, pointing you to a reflection of wholeness, the balance of masculine and feminine traits. These complementary qualities can also be blended together to form a balanced and successful partnership. It is often true that soul mates won’t see eye to eye on everything, because they grew up with different sets of values. Valuing each other will prove more important than valuing and liking the same things.
Fact: Soul mates Share a Highly Developed Sixth Sense
It is often true that soul mates pick up on each other’s psychic cues, finish each other’s sentences and communicate telepathically. They are in sync a lot of the time. It is not uncommon for a soul mate to sense it when their soul mate is distressed, picking up on negative emotional currents even at a distance or to dream more detailed information about their emotional wellbeing. The spirit-driven synergy soul mates share creates a unified field of creativity producing signs and synchronicities that flood each other’s consciousness. This is why there are usually magical and meaningful signs that authenticate the soul mate connection when soul mates meet.
Fiction: It will never be the same with someone else.
Less than 30% of soul mates come together and commit to a long-term relationship. Therefore, there is every possibility that you can have a soulful and complementary relationship with someone else, fall in love, bond in friendship and be happy. In fact, you could be happier with someone else, a love-match who complements you in some of the same ways your soul mate does.

Rosario and the Far East
05/31/2010
I am officially in love with Rosario Dawson.
On another note, my family in Taiwan keeps telling me that they can secure a job for me there teaching English, and they want me to move there sometime next year. I’m seriously thinking about it. Taipei is pretty sick and there’s tons of American expatriates who live there who I can befriend. Who knows, maybe I’ll even find “the one” there, after all, this world is full of infinite possibilities.
Ximending district, Taipei, Taiwan.
*Disclaimer: I am not Indian or of South Asian descent. I just find myself interloping when it comes to all cultures, haha.
Desi (Hindi: देशी pronounced [ˈd̪esi]) refers to the peoples, cultures, and products of South Asia. The word is originally from Sanskrit देशीdeśī, literally meaning “from the country” or “of the country”.

It seems as if everywhere you look nowadays- whether in the United States or in their native India- these SMOKING HOT Indian chicks are popping out of the woodwork. A cursory glance at any Bollywood site offers more eye candy to me than watching an entire Hollywood special. America has already ceded its economic primacy to other world regions and it seems that sex appeal is on pace for a similar demise.
I mean, I’ve always found brunettes to be much more attractive than blondes so I spent my adolescent and teenage years looking for a hot Indian prospect in both the real world and the entertainment world. The 90′s came and went and I can honestly say that even in college- where there exists a surplus of South Asian chicks- there were only a handful of curry girls who attracted my attention. But then comes the mid 00′s and everywhere you look there are these beautiful, dark olive-complexioned, lithe princess templates everywhere. And I could be biased since I like brunettes and women of all backgrounds, but they seem to be waxing American and Western girls in the hotness and beauty department.
Maybe I just wasn’t paying close enough attention to detail a decade ago, but now everywhere I go in public that I see these chicks they seem to have “filled out” if you know what I mean. Maybe they’re starting to make their curry dishes with chicken that’s been injected with massive dosages of hormones or something. But damn, I sure do want and need me a spicy girl to teach me some yoga. :oP
